Empathy Care is looking for reliable community Carers to join our small friendly care team based around Diss, Harleston, Long Stratton and over the border into Suffolk.
Experience is preferred however, we are happy to train those new to the care industry.
Your role will involve supporting those in need to remain living independently in their own homes. Tasks will include administering personal care, support with medications management, socialising, light household duties and simple welfare checks.
Full training will be given as well as on-going training in dementia care, palliative care, safeguarding of vulnerable adults and care standards to name but a few. In addition, Empathy Care offers the right candidates the opportunity to study NVQ’s in Health and Social Care.
You must have a genuine caring nature, have a desire to enhance the lives of those you care for, be reliable, punctual and display the utmost professionalism at all times.
In return, we offer an great rates of pay and full holiday pay, pro rata to hours worked. In addition, you will be paid for travelling time and you will receive a mileage allowance. We pay for your DBS check, uniforms, induction training and on-going training and development.
It is a requirement of the role that applicants must have access to a motor vehicle in order to fulfil their home care duties.
